Welcome to Attenzione Redfern, our neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar. This is a space where we keep it neighbourly with our unpretentious, delicious approach to dining and our drop-in-on-your-way-home vibes. Tucked into the vibrant streets of the inner-city, we created Attenzione Sydney to be the ultimate local hangout.
Come sit by our big window and people-watch over a solo glass of vino, get comfy at our banquette on a first date, or squeeze all your mates around a table for a lively birthday dinner. Like any neighbourhood bistro worth its salt, Attenzione! is good any day of the week for moments big and small.
The Meaning Behind "Attenzione"
In Italian, attenzione means attention, focus, and care—and that's exactly the philosophy we bring to every plate and every glass.
Our food focuses on snacky, fun and highly shareable dishes. While our menu leans deeply into our Italian heritage, we aren't strictly stuck to one spot on the map. We take the very best local Australian produce and give it the attenzione it deserves.
Similarly, our wine list jumps around the place, guided by quality, terroir and discovery. You'll always find premium Nebbiolo and exciting, left-of-field natural drops front and centre. It's tasteful, classic, fun—and pairs perfectly with your pici.
We built this space for our community. Attenzione! is the passion project of four mates who wanted to bring great wine, incredible food and a warm, inviting atmosphere to Redfern. We believe hospitality shouldn't be stiff or formal—it should feel like walking into a friend's dining room.
